ЮГ Times. Back on September 6, 2006, two renowned music bands -- the Philharmonic Chamber Orchestra and the Yekaterinodar Band Variety Jazz Orchestra -- united to form the State Variety Symphonic Orchestra.
"Our guest performance schedule has become businer over the past few years," said Vadim Kuzminsky, Director of the Orchestra and Honoured Artist of Kuban. "Now it has become trendy to give solo performances to the accompaniment of variety symphonic bands, and our orchestra has proved itself in such projects. We accompanied such stars as Ievgheni Doga, Larisa Dolina, Vladislav Kosarev, Ed Shulzhevsky, Yekaterina Liokhina and Olga Godunova. We also worked with Scorpions, an Italian star Alessandro Safina in Krasnodar and Rostov-on-Don, and with Tarja Turunen."
