The purpose of the rally was to shape an image of the constructor of the country’s future, to popularize working professions, and to upgrade the prestige of managerial engineering occupations.
The participants of the forum were greeted by a group of managers from BOSCH and KNAUF who introduced them to German quality standards on construction, hi-techs, and production of special equipment and materials. Aleksey Kudriavtsev, a BOSCH trainer, delivered a presentation on the Company’s history of success.
Mikhail Grigorenko from KNAUF spoke of advanced construction technologies. The participants were invited to a birthday party held by BauCenter hypermarket in Novorossiysk. The teenagers were introduced to the variety of construction tools and planting stocks. A master class in construction finishing work was delivered by KNAUF - right in the shop among the shelves selling dry blends the children were shown how to get 2 sq m of gypsum board plastered within a couple of minutes.
“The participants of the All-Russian Gathering “Builders of New Russia” have received a lot of new knowledge and contributed to the development of the [Children’s] Centre,” Gennadi Tumbov, a Gathering coordinator, was quoted as saying.
