Krasnodar, 14 August – Yug Times. Over five years, 57 public spaces have been improved in Krasnodar. Of these, 13 public gardens and boulevards with a total area of 35.9 hectares were transformed as part of the national project “Housing and Urban Environment”. Another 44 territories were improved and beautified at the expense of the local budget, extra-budgetary sources, on initiative budgeting and under the program of fulfillment of voters’ requests.
The largest projects became Nikolaevsky boulevard in the micro district of Gidrostroiteley, Emerald square in Molodezhnoye, Leonard Gatov square with a monument to the maestro near the Palace of Arts “Premiere” and the square of Mem ory of Heroes-tankists in Kolosistom settlement. Here they renewed the alley of busts of famous tankers, cleaned up the mass grave of soldiers who fell during the Great Patriotic War. They also installed a children’s playground and sports grounds, and preserved all green areas.
This year under the national project “Infrastructure for Life” in the region al capital two public areas are being improved: Zakharia Chepega public garden in the Yubileyny microdistrict and Shalyapinsky Boulevard in Musical.
Also in Krasnodar the improvement of territories is carried out within the framework of regional and city initiative budgeting.
