Krasnodar, 23 May – Yug Times. The Kuban municipalities have reportedly assigned land plots for gymnastics centres.
Similar to the martial arts centres, it was decided to build gymnastics centres in every district in the Krasnodar region.
It is planned to build 44 centres within five years. To date, 12 municipalities have selected suitable sites, namely Armavir, Sochi, Belorechensk, Kanevsky, Mostovskoi, Seversky, Slaviansk, Yeisk, Brukhovetsky, Korenovsk, Dinskoi and Tikhoretsk districts. The sites must be in a good location with convenient logistics and infrastructure. The construction works will begin in the first nine districts next year, provided these conditions are met.
Conventional designs of the gymnastics centres and the key points to be included in the technical specifications for builders are also currently finalised. These will include high ceilings, a choreo graphic hall and spacious sports gear storerooms.
