Krasnodar, 1 May – Yug Times. Thirty-five new municipal paid car parks will reportedly be opened in Krasnodar in the near future.
From 30 June, a number of roadside sites in Krasnodar will turn into paid spaces. The parking price will vary between 30 and 50 roubles per hour. The City Hall’s press service listed the objectives to be achieved with the help of this novelty: to increase the availability of parking places, to reduce the traffic jams and transport load on the city roads, and to decrease the number of infringements of rules of stopping and parking.
Paid parking will be introduced on both sides of Novitsky, Atarbekov, Vorovsky and Korenovskaya Streets on 30 June. From 31 July, paid parking will expand to a number of spaces on both sides of Pervogo Maya, 40-Letiya Pobedy, Petr Metalnikov, Yesenin and Zipovskaya Streets, and on the even side of Rossiyskaya Street. The new paid parking arrangements in Krasnodar will finish by 30 November, when tariffs will be introduced on the sections on both sides of Sormovskaya, Simferopolskaya, Uralskaya and Tiuliaev Streets.
