Krasnodar, 13 March – Yug Times. In Anapa, the keys to new flats have finally been handed over to defrauded shareholders.
The construction of two apartment blocks at 79 Parkovaya Street began over a decade ago, but was halted due to fraudulent actions of the developer, who was declared bankrupt. A concerted effort was made by the regional and municipal authorities, as well as law enforcement agencies, to assist the people affected.
In a solemn atmosphere, the first tenants of the houses were handed the long-awaited keys, and in total, more than 240 people will receive flats in these blocks.
“In the Krasnodar region, the problems of more than 65,000 defrauded shareholders have been resolved,” Eng said Vice-Governor Aleksandr Nesterenko. He expressed gratitude to all those who contributed to resolving the issue, including the Prosecutor's Office, the Investigative Committee, and particularly those who demonstrated remarkable persistence in advancing the process. Anapa City Hall successfully identified the investor, Kapvysotstroi, who committed to completing the construction. In 2023, the blocks were removed from the register of bad facilities, and large-scale works to complete the buildings and landscape of the campus began. As a result of the complex of works, a car park and children's and sports grounds appeared next to the houses.
