Krasnodar, 25 February – Yug Times. More than 19 billion roubles have reportedly been allocated over the past three years for the implementation of the Sustainable Development Plan of the Krasnodar region.
The document was approved in March 2022 and is aimed at ensuring sustainable economic development and supporting social stability in the region.
“Over the past three years, 19.4 billion roubles from various sources of funding, including the regional and federal budgets, have been allocated for its implementation. These investments have provided substantial support to key industries and priority areas of economic development in the Kuban [region],” said Aleksei Yurtaev, Krasnodar Region's Minister of Economy. “Our plan pays particular attention to stimulating industrial production, modernising the public transport fleet and creating favourable conditions for attracting investment to the region's economy.”
Over 7.3 billion roubles have been allocated to support industrial enterprises over the past three years, including over 2 billion roubles for import substitution and the development of engineering and technical centres.
About 3 billion roubles, federal funding included, have been allocated for the renewal of public transport.
