Krasnodar, 29 January – Yug Times. Over seven kilometres of the second stage of the 20th sewage collector have reportedly been laid in Krasnodar.
This is an ongoing and currently the biggest infrastructure development project in the city.
Drilling works at the site began in September 2024. From September to December, specialists successfully laid over seven kilometres of the pipeline.
This year, they plan to construct at least 10 kilometres of the collector and three pumping stations.
It is anticipated that the collector will serve as the primary drainage for the entire northern part of Krasnodar.
The work is being carried out using both micro-tunnelling and open-cut methods, depending on the density of construction. The first method lies in underground drilling, and the second method means laying pipes on the ground.
The project involves 72 vehicles and over 130 specialists. The total length of the planned collector system is 23 kilometres.
