Krasnodar, 26 December – Yug Times. In November 2024, Kuban residents took out only 145,800 consumer loans, which was 5.1% less than in October, when they received 153,700 loans, stated This follows from the data of creditors who hand over information to the National Bureau of Credit Histories (NBCH). 

Krasnodar Krai is in 6th biggest Russian region on the total number of loans issued for consumer needs. It is worth noting that in the regions which, together with Kuban, are the leaders in the granting of loans, the decline was even greater. Moscow had the highest number of loans, but it was 23% lower than in the previous month. In St Petersburg, the figure fell by 12%. In November 2024, the average amount of consumer loans granted was 135,000 roubles. This was the lowest figure in 2024, NBCH analysts noted. 

"The average size of consumer loans is decreasing for the fifth month in a row. In November, the decline accelerated significantly," commented NBCH Marketing Director Aleksei Volkov.
