Krasnodar, 10 December – Yug Times. Adygeya communities have reportedly received new school buses.
A total of 11 new vehicles have been delivered to schools in Adygheisk, Koshekhabl, Shovgenovsky, Krasnogvardeisky, Maikop and Takhtamukai districts. The fleet includes GAZ with 16-22 seats, PAZ and KAVZ with 31-34 seats.
Minister of Finance of the Republic of Adyghea Viktor Orlov informed that currently, not counting the new fleet, 102 special school buses are working in the municipalities. The motor transport comes to the region on the instructions of the Russian government.
He also noted that a lot of work is being done in the republic to improve the educational infrastructure: three new schools have been built this year, and three more will be built by the end of the year. To date, 20 schools have been refurbished and seven more are planned for next year. Next year will see the start of the programme to renovate kindergartens in Russia – Adyghea's applications have been sent to the Ministry of Education and the selection process has been completed.
