Krasnodar, 23 August – Yug Times. Businesses in the Krasnodar region will be seeking employees at colleges and technical schools.
The Kuban authorities see this as one of the mechanisms to tackle the problem of staff shortages in the region. The events include master classes, business games, training sessions and industrial tours. A year and a half ago the region decided to organise open days in colleges and technical schools with the participation of business community. Since the beginning of this year, 166 such events were held in the region, which were attended by almost 600 representatives of companies and over 8,000 students.
Thus, managers of a large agricultural holding visited four educational institutions in Armavir, Labinsk, Slaviansk-on-Kuban, and Ust-Labinsk, where they searched for future specialists in agricultural production, veterinary medicine, electrification, and motor vehicle maintenance. The students were told about the working conditions at the enterprise and employment guarantees. In 2024, the agricultural holding employed 96 graduates of vocational schools, 14 of whom were trained under special-purpose contracts. In the Slaviansk district, a local horticultural farm employed 23 graduates based on the results of the meetings held on such open days.
