Krasnodar, 22 August – Yug Times. Since the beginning of the year, Kuban enterprises have shipped industrial products worth 287 billion roubles, which is 24% more than in the same period last year. In total, the sales volume is growing in all 27 municipalities that are considered promising for industrial development.
The highest growth rates were shown by manufacturers of trailers and semi-trailers, vehicles and equipment, enterprises of radio-electronic and light industry, and woodworking industry.
The regional rating of municipalities by the volume of industrial products shipped in the first half of the year was headed by Abinsk district. Over the past ten years, it has remained an unchanged leader due to the development of the electrometallurgical plant. Compared to the same period in 2023, the volume of shipments in the municipality increased by 12 per cent and exceeded 51 billion roubles.
Krasnodar, Novorossiysk, Belorechensk district and Armavir are also in the top five.
This year, more than 1.8 billion roubles of subsidies will be allocated from the regional budget for industrial development in nine areas, including financing up to 30 per cent of the enterprises' costs for launching or developing import-substituting production facilities.
