Krasnodar, 17 July – Yug Times. Last year, 22,000 vacancies for IT specialists were posted in the Krasnodar region. This was 8% more than in 2022.
Since the beginning of this year, over 12,000 IT vacancies have been placed in the Krasnodar region, while in the first half of 2023 over 10,500 such vacancies were placed, announced the hh.ru press service. At the same time, the average proposed salary for IT specialists in the region for the first six months of this year increased by 15% reaching 68,500 roubles at the end of June.
The situation with hiring in the IT sector is ambiguous: the demand and the supply are absolutely imbalanced. Currently, there are 6.7 active CVs per vacancy in the industry in Russia, but 9.2 in the Krasnodar region. However, we cannot admit that it is now easier to hire IT-specialists. There is a shortage, but it is observed at the positions of signor-developers - on average there are only 1.2 active CVs per vacancy. Among mid-level developers the situation is slightly better: 6 CVs per vacancy. Among juniors the competition is very high - more than 16 CVs per vacancy.
