Krasnodar, 9 July – Yug Times. An extraordinary joint meeting of the Anti-Terrorist Commission and the Emergency Response Centre was held in Adyghea last week.
The participants discussed how to strengthen the anti-terrorist security measures in view of the threats of terrorist attacks.
The meeting also discussed issues of security at fuel and energy facilities, water supply facilities, and security measures to be taken in accordance with the security passports of the facilities. Besides, the session gave recommendations to prevent possible risks in the migration sphere, and increase the efficiency of social and cultural adaptation of foreign citizens.
Asker Shkhalakhov, Chairman of the RA Committee on Nationalities, Relations with Compatriots and Mass Media, reported that Adyghea annually holds a series of events aimed at creating conditions for peaceful inter-ethnic and inter-confessional relations, countering extremism and ethnic intolerance.
