Krasnodar, 28 June – Yug Times. Platform for Engineering Solutions A new industrial technology park for import-substituting productions will be developed in Kropotkin.
The park is being built by a local Kuban investor. The new site will be used by production facilities that will ensure import substitution in machine building, primarily in agricultural machinery. The machines that used to be imported will be produced in the Kavkazsky district. Four billion roubles will be invested and 450 new jobs will be created there, which is a serious economic breakthrough for the district. In time, an agro-industrial machine-building cluster will emerge on the site. The regional authorities are ready to support the project in all matters, in particular, the budget will compensate up to 90 per cent of the costs for the creation of accompanying engineering infrastructure of the industrial technology park.
It already has two residents, and negotiations are underway with one more. These are companies that are setting up the manufacture of cultivators, ploughs, hydraulic cylinders, spare parts for agricultural machinery, and equipment for sugar mills.
