Krasnodar, 27 June – Yug Times. A woman suspected of brutally beating her daughter has reportedly been arrested in Adygeisk.
The woman is suspected of torture committed by a group of persons against a minor in a helpless state. She was charged under Article 117 of the Russian Criminal Code. At the trial she gave a full confession.
At the request of the investigation, the judge took the accused into custody. The investigators established that between April and May of this year a family couple living in Adygeysk systematically used physical force against their child.
As a result, the girl received injuries of varying severity. The abuses took place in the flat where the couple lived. The little girl died. As previously reported, the father of the girl was also arrested. Law enforcers suspect that it was he who inflicted fatal injuries to the child.
The investigation will assess his actions.
