Krasnodar, 11 April – Yug Times. Renovation of the façade of the Gorki Krasnodar Academic Drama Theatre has been completed in the Kuban capital.
During the opening of the renovated building, a volumetric installation was shown on the façade, which reflected the main stages of the restoration work. The presentation was attended by the Minister of Culture of the Krasnodar region Viktoria Lapina and People's Artist of Russia Anatoli Gorgul. The region’s main theatre was renovated as part of the national project "Culture." The works finished eight months ahead of schedule.
The renovation works began in the autumn of 2023. The funds were allocated from the federal budget with regional co-financing. The façade area of more than 1 thousand square metres was clad with Russia-made ceramic tiles, which were used for the first time in the region to finish a cultural institution. The windows were replaced along the entire perimeter of the building. Over 500 strip and spot-lights were installed around it. Now the illumination of the building will work in two modes – routine and festive.
