Krasnodar, 4 April – Yug Times. “Five Seas and Lake Baikal” is the name of the construction project of national all-season seaside resorts. New Anapa is going to be one of these newly established resorts.
One of the priority tasks for New Anapa will be the construction of a motor road detouring the settlements along the route.
As President Vladimir Putin emphasised at the meeting, the development of resort areas should be performed together with improving their transport accessibility. Both existing and new roads should be built for maximum possible number of users.
According to Kuban Governor Veniamin Kondratyev, last year Anapa welcomed a record number of tourists – 4.1 million. The load on the resort is growing, and transport accessibility of New Anapa is becoming a separate challenging issue of the project.
“The tourist flow to Anapa will increase to 6.7 million by 2031. In addition to the new infrastructure facilities, a new access road bypassing the existing settlements is also needed. The new 18-km-long road is to be designed and laid from the federal highway Novorossiysk – Kerch," said Veniamin Kondratiev.
