Krasnodar, 14 March – Yug Times. In Timashevsk district, a medical centre will be overhauled in response to a public request.
A resident of Medvedovskaya village informed about the need to renovate the in-patient department of the local hospital. The building was built in 1971, and it serves residents of three rural localities – in total, over 17,500 people, including almost 4,000 children. "Availability of primary care facilities within walking distance is important for rural residents. Doctors and nursing staff also need to work in comfortable conditions. One of our main tasks is to bring medical centres in the region up to date in a timely manner," stressed Governor Veniamin Kondratiev.
The head of the region instructed to consider the possibility to increase the funding of repair works at hospitals and polyclinics at the next session of the regional Legislative Assembly. Minister of Health Yevgeni Filippov reported that in 2022 the Ministry developed the design project and estimate documentation for major repairs of the hospital building in Medvedovskaya. The cost of repair works will amount to 90.9 million roubles.
