Krasnodar, 7 March – Yug Times. Charges have been brought in Krasnodar against the defendant in a murder case.
In addition, on Monday, 4 March, at the request of the investigator, pre-trial restrictions in the form of detention were chosen for the suspect.
What is at issue is the crime that occurred in the centre of Krasnodar at the end of last week. Near the Tsentralny residential complex, not far from the City Hall, a murder was committed. The incident was captured by CCTV cameras. Judging by the footage, the defendant shot his opponent at the moment when he was getting out of his car. He fell down by the car. At that moment, there were passers-by on the street. The police arrived and detained the shooter almost immediately.
"According to the investigation, in the afternoon of March 1, 2024 in Budenny Street in Krasnodar, a 54-year-old man fired two shots from a shotgun into the chest of a 58-year-old man who died on scene because of the wounds sustained," commented Anzhela Shesterikova, Assistant Head of the Investigative Directorate.
During the interrogation, the man pleaded guilty to the incriminated offence.
