Krasnodar, 19 January – Yug Times. A complex of artificial waterfalls is being built in Greater Sochi's Lazarevsky district.
“We are now continuing the high pace of landscaping of the resort's public spaces set during the Year of Architecture in Sochi last year. For residents and guests of the Lazarevsky district, the project "Six Waterfalls" symbolising six constituencies of our district is being implemented along Pobedy Street. The adjacent territory will be landscaped,” said Aleksei Kopaigorodsky.
The Six Waterfalls project includes the construction of a quiet recreation area with landscaping and garden furniture, installation of small architectural forms and decorative lighting.
To date, the site has been prepared for the installation of a metal frame; the wall of the waterfalls is being decorated with art concrete; and the utilities and drainage system are being laid. Overflow bowls will be installed to make the waterfalls work.
The landscaping of one of the busiest streets in Sochi's Lazarevsky district is scheduled to be completed by mid-March.
