Krasnodar, 16 January – Yug Times. The Krasnodar region has reportedly expanded the territory where the resort tax is to be collected.
Since 1 January, the tax is charged in the cities of Novorossiysk and Tuapse, and in Mostovskoi, Psebai and Yaroslavskaya towns, Mostovskoi district. It means that the regional experiment will be implemented in 16 cities and towns.
“In 2023, the amount credited to the regional Fund for the Development of Resort Infrastructure exceeded 740 million roubles, which was 22 per cent above the planned figures. Noting this success, in 2023 Novorossiysk, Tuapse and three settlements of the Mostovskoi district applied for the programme,” said Mikhail Zaritsky, acting Minister of Resorts, Tourism and Olympic Heritage of the Krasnodar region.
Before, the resort fee in the Kuban region had already been introduced in Sochi, Anapa, Gelendzhik, Goriachy Kluch; Dzhubga, Nebug, Novomikhailovsky, Shepsi and Tenginka in Tuapse district; Yeisk and Dolzhanskaya in Yeisky district. Except Sochi, the tourists are charged 30 roubles a day, and in Sochi the fee is 50 roubles.
