Krasnodar, 7 September – Yug Times. All 69 secondary schools in Sochi had reportedly been renovated by the beginning of the school year.
For instance, a comprehensive overhaul was carried out at School No. 80 in Lazarevsky District, for which purpose 240 million roubles were allocated.
“Every year we make every effort to make it comfortable for our children to study and for the teachers to work. We start preparing the premises for the new school year well in advance. This year all 69 secondary schools in the city have been comprehensively or partially renovated, 345 million roubles have been allocated for their modernisation, including 260 million roubles from the city budget,” said Sochi Mayor. The gym at School No. 13, the canteens at Lyceum No. 3 and School No. 92 were overhauled. The facades of three schools and the roofs of five schools were renovated. The windows were replaced at Gymnasium No. 44 and Lyceum No. 23. The construction of a sport and playground.
