Krasnodar, 1 September – Yug Times. Since the beginning of 2023, the tourist flow to the Krasnodar region has increased by 4%, announced Deputy Governor Aleksandr Ruppel at a regional meeting held last week in Krasnodar.
“Since the beginning of the year, the Krasnodar region has received 11.6 million holidaymakers. At the same time, the hot season is in full swing. In the Black Sea hotels, a peak 95% load was recorded, and in the Azov Sea hotels the load was 87%,” said Aleksandr Ruppel.
The vice governor noted that now it is important to aspire for qualitative rather than quantitative indicators, by making the tourists wishing to return to our resorts thankful to the comfortable conditions and premium service. “Over the year, the number of classified beaches increased by 22%. Now there are 128 such beaches in the region, of which 82 have been assigned the highest category – a "blue" flag,” Aleksandr Ruppel reminded.
