Krasnodar, 6 July – Yug Times. The Yubileiny Children’s Health Improvement Camp has reportedly been opened in Anapa after the reconstruction.
Last week, the first session was opened in the Camp. The opening ceremony was attended by Anapa Mayor Vasili Shvets, City Council Chairman Leonid Krasnorutsky, and Vasili Dimoyev, the Yubileiny Camp’s investor.
The Camp had been abandoned for more than ten years. The investor had to do capital repair of the dormitories, canteen, and administrative and medical building, and to replace the infrastructural networks. Sports grounds and recreation areas, a summer amphitheatre and an assembly space were built in the campus.
“Anapa has always been and it remains the country’s main children’s health resort, and the opening of the new children’s camp is a great joy and pride for us,” said Vasili Shvets.
It was just the first stage of the project. The development master plan provides for the construction of a fifty-metre swimming pool, a cultural centre, and further development of sports facilities.
