Krasnodar, 17 May. Krasnodar Krai will reportedly begin the batch production of unmanned air vehicles.

Last week, Governor Veniamin Kondratiev had a meeting with the founding shareholder of an R&D company Aleksandr Fomin and inspected the workshops where an assembly-line drone production is to be launched.

“I know that the existing drone models have been tested successfully in combat conditions where they made a good showing. The first test prototypes were hand made. Now you are shifting to a batch production. Unmanned aircraft are highly sought-after in the market. We are ready to back you – it is important for the region’s economy,” Veniamin Kondratiev said.

The first batch of drones has already been handed over to the Ministry of Defence and the National Guard. By the end of May, 50 more drones will be manufactured. Simultaneously, the company is running training courses for drone operators.
