Krasnodar, 10 May. Last week, the Adyghean leader Murat Kumpilov held a meeting with Regional Ombudsman Anatoli Osokin. They discussed the results of the work of the regional ombudsman’s office in 2022, and identified the ways of treating citizen appeals. Anatoli Osokin informed that the number of appeals and the number of people registered for personal reception grew by 25% last year. At the same time, the number of complaints reduced. Most often, citizens complained about the work of federal authorities, particularly court bailiffs and district police officers.
Murat Kumpilov said that solution of many questions depends on the quality of field activities. In 2022, the lowest number of complaints was registered in Koshekhabl Rayon, and the highest number – in Maikop Rayon. Mr. Kumpilov emphasised on the importance of systemic work with appeals submitted by local persons, and instructed to activate personal reception of citizens and consideration of personal complaints in municipalities.
