Krasnodar, 4 May. A number of hospitality destinations in the Krasnodar region have reportedly entered a rating of popular southern locations.
Tele2 has analysed their customer activity and determined the most popular tourist locations in the southern Russian regions. Once again, the title of the most sought-after public park in South Russia was won by the Krasnodar Park. Following the opening of the Japanese Garden, its popularity has soared up. In December 2022 – March 2023, the visitors used about 207 Tb of mobile Internet while being in the park.
The second most popular locality was the Olympic Park in Sochi, whose visitors consumed over 148 Tb of mobile traffic. The third top place was given to the Olimp Park in Gelendzhik, located at the foothills of the Markotkh Range, whose visitors used 79 Tb. The proximity to the sea makes this facility especially popular for visitors from all Russian regions, announced Tele2 press service.
Wine and gastronomy tourism was another very popular tourist destination.
