Krasnodar, 10 March. Honored Artist of the Kuban, soloist of the Krasnodar Musical Theater Gulnara Nizamova.
- What difficulties did you face in the theatrical environment and how did you cope with them?
- Although I grew up in a theatrical environment and knew more than the rest of the newly arrived soloists, from the very beginning and throughout my career, I faced various difficulties. Only earlier they arose more often, because there was not that baggage of knowledge and experience that I have now. I made mistakes, met envy and competition. It was especially difficult at the beginning, and years later I learned to react more calmly to many things, I became more confident in myself. And I want to say that with negative experiences there always comes positive ones.
- Today you are a laureate and winner of numerous awards, awarded the title of Honored Artist of Kuban, touring throughout the country and even beyond its borders. What is the secret of success?
- I believe that God endowed me with a whole range of stage qualities: voice, appearance, musicality, acting skills. And on top of that, I have great self-criticism, I can look at myself from the outside and see my shortcomings, I constantly work on myself. I know how to be sensitive to comments, open to suggestions, I know how to listen to the director, to understand him from half a glance and half a word. All these qualities are the key to success. You need to be flexible, be able to quickly navigate and immediately produce results, and I try to be just that.
