Krasnodar, 22 February. Kuban Region Vice Governor Sergei Vlasov has reportedly headed the work of the Commission on control of urban planning and land law in Temriuk Rayon (municipal district).

“For us, it is important to balance the development [of the municipality], make the life there more comfortable, retaining at the same time its resort constituent and vinelands, which make up 70 per cent of their total area in the region. At present, the Kuban region has introduced uniform requirements for integrated construction development that includes schools, kindergartens, hospitals, sports and children’s playgrounds, and green zones, so much sought-after by local residents. However, a host of facilities that are being built in the municipality do not comply with these requirements,” Governor Veniamin Kondratiev said.

The newly appointed Commission will include executives of the relevant Ministries and Departments, and environmentalists. The Commission will perform audit of all construction permits that were issued in the municipality since 2016 – over 4,900.
