Krasnodar, 16 February. According to a research of the Avtostat business intelligence company, the national used-car market was in decline in 2022.

Last year, consumers bought 8,900 electric cars, which was by 3% less than in 2021. With 697 second-hand electric vehicles bought in the region in 2022, Krasnodar Krai was the nation’s second largest regional market of used electric cars, preceded by Moscow City (1,346 cars, or over 15% of the market). The top three was rounded out by Irkutsk Oblast (611 cars), which by the way had topped the rating a year before.

Fifty-six per cent (4,944 vehicles) of the used electric cars sold in Russia in 2022 were Nissans; about a fifth part of them were Teslas (1,923 vehicles); followed by BMWs (only 305 vehicles). Hyundai, Porsche and Audi sold more than 200 used electric cars each.

Nissan Leaf was the most popular second-hand electric car in Russia last year (4,923 sold cars).
