Krasnodar, 25 January. One and a half billion roubles will be allocated from the federal and regional budgets for social contracts in the Krasnodar region this year, Governor Veniamin Kondratiev wrote in his social network account.
“A social contract is one of the support measures given to families with many children. We can see that more and more local inhabitants are using it, which is why we have allocated 1.5 billion roubles for these purposes in 2023. Owing to the programme, the people earn money and open up new jobs,” Veniamin Kondratiev wrote.
In 2022, one-time payments under social contracts intended to develop private entrepreneurship and maintaining an individual subsidiary farm were increased by 100,000 roubles. At present, the maximum amount of the subsidy granted to beginning entrepreneurs is 350,000 roubles, and of the one granted to develop subsidiary farming is 200,000 roubles.
“Socially vulnerable inhabitants whose monthly income does not exceed the subsistence level are entitled for the governmental support,” the regional administration’s press service explained. “The receivers of the social contract can open their own business, start a farm, or acquire a new vocation. A social contract can also be signed to help overcome a difficult life situation.”
