Krasnodar, 24 November. Investments into a large-scale network of yacht marines are being discussed in Sochi.
The cost of the yacht marines in Sochi will be about one trillion roubles. As part of the yacht tourism development concept, about 12 marines are to be opened along the seaside. They will provide for the advancement of intensive yachting and contribute to the safety of sea voyages. “The purpose of the marines is to cut short the distance between the seaports [located] in Sochi, and to provide new jobs for local people. We have already developed investment projects for ten marines along the Sochi seaside. About a trillion [roubles] of investment will be needed to have the pilot projects launched,” said Olga Shebzukhova, Alliance Marine Development CEO.
In total, over 10,000 marinas will be built in the framework of the yachting development and marine construction project. Each marine will serve as a tourist destination and a leisure centre which will include up-to-date hotels, seafronts, beaches and sports schools.
