Krasnodar, 18 November. By the end of this year, the Kuban municipalities will receive new school buses and ambulance cars, Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin announced at a session of the federal Cabinet of Ministers.
The Kuban Government Veniamin Kondratiev has commented on this decision: “Currently, the regional ambulance car fleet consists of 721 vehicles. Every day, 1,406 school buses carry more than 72,000 children. In the [Krasnodar] region, there are many rural settlements, including remote ones, which is why comfort and safety of conveyances of students, physicians and their patients is our priority task. Such a [big] number of vehicles cannot work flawlessly without regular renovation.”
The additional ambulance cars will let the physicians promptly react to the patients’ calls. Medical vehicles are also being purchased in the framework of the national project “Health protection.” This year, 192 cars have already been bought in the region.
