Krasnodar, 9 November. The Central Bank’s analysts assert that the retail credit portfolio in the Krasnodar Region grew by 15.4% for the nine months of this year, as compared with the same period of 2021, reaching 952.3 billion roubles.
The portfolio of mortgage and consumer credits grew by 26.6% and 7.4%, correspondingly. At the same time, according to the National Bureau of Credit Histories, the volume of consumer credits issued in January – September 2022 fell by 39.8%. The lowest figures were shown in March – July, states the Central Bank. The positive trend in the third quarter was stimulated by the improvement of non-price conditions required for bank loans to be issued. The banks extended the limits, increased the periods of credits, and reduced the minimum sum of the initial payment under mortgage loans. Besides, the existence of a series of discount programmes continued to support the demand for mortgage loans. In addition to credits, people continue to keep their money in deposit accounts.
