Krasnodar, 11 October. Three inhabitants of Maikop Rayon (District) will reportedly be tried for the kidnap.
A criminal case was initiated by the Investigative Department in Maikop Rayon of the Investigation Committee for the kidnap committed by a group of individuals by prior agreement, the agency’s press service announced.
According to the investigators, three inhabitants of Trekhrechny Village arrived to their acquaintance last September to deal with a home dispute and, by employing violence put him into a tractor trailer and took him to the outskirt of the village, where they kept him by force, tying him to a wooden bench with a hose.
On the following day, the victim managed to escape; he was found by local dwellers, whom he informed of the crime.
Upon a motion by the investigator, the court placed the accused in pre-trial detention.
