Krasnodar, 26 August. The third stage of the Media Laboratory for Innovative Patriotic Journalism has reportedly closed in the all-Russian Children’s Centre ‘Orlionok’ (Eaglet).
The event was held for four days, and it was attended by about 150 children and adults. The young journalists listened to a series of master classes held by Svetlana Babaeva, RIA Novosti Krym Director, and a training session held by Dmitri Makeyev, RIA Novosti Krym staff photo correspondent. Following the training sessions, the winners of creative contests were awarded with certificates and event binders, while the coaches were inducted into the ‘order of eaglets.’
Commenting on the news, Aleksandr Dzheus, Orlionok Children’s Centre Director noted that since the beginning of the year, the Media Laboratory has improved the level of information literacy of about 500 teenagers and 100 teachers of the Centre.The Media Laboratory is known to be an enlightening project aimed at Russian and foreign schoolchildren aged 14 till 16.
