Krasnodar, 26 August. Over 13 billion roubles will reportedly be allocated from the federal budget to the construction of the main sewage conduit in Krasnodar. Vice Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin was quoted as saying that a recent session of the Presidium of the Governmental Commission on Regional Development had approved a series of applications for allocation of privileged funding for infrastructural development in the framework of the program “Infrastructural menu.” The Housing and Utilities Fund will assign money for the construction, reconstruction and upgrading of the infrastructure of ten regions, the Krasnodar region included which will get 13.25 billion roubles.
“Krasnodar is growing rapidly, and it has for a long while needed changing of the municipal engineering networks. The federal money will help accelerate the process of renovation. We are planning to proceed to the constructions works in 2023, and to accomplish them in 2026,” Governor Veniamin Kondratiev said.
