Krasnodar, 23 August. The construction of a ‘smart’ sports facility is reportedly concluding in Maikop. The cost of the construction project was 26.3 million roubles that were assigned from the budgets of all levels. The works are being performed as part of the Republic of Adyghea’s governmental program “Development of physical culture and sports.” The sports facility includes a volleyball and basketball grounds, a football pitch, workout sites, athletic tracks, and LED-based lighting. The facility will soon become furnished with up-to-date sports equipment and machines enabling to hold contests of various levels.
The simulators will be labelled with QR-codes carrying information to help correctly do the exercises and even build up an individual training schedule. Besides, the sports facility will have a free Wi-Fi access. The City Hall’s press office announced that local residents are already visiting the yet unfinished facility, which negatively affects the course of construction. They mentioned that such unauthorized visiting may damage the covering of the facility and thus render difficult to commission the project.
