Krasnodar, 23 August. Over fifty kilometres of water mains are to be laid in the Krasnodar region. The works are being performed at the Troitsky, Yeisk and Taman mains.

The large water pipelines that are undergoing reconstruction supply water to Novorossiysk, Gelendzhik, Krymsk rayon, the Taman Peninsula, and the northern part of the region. The regional authorities have applied for the federal support to reconstruct the mains – and received 18.2 billion roubles as infrastructural credits.

The reconstruction of the Troitsky Group Water Supply System started in 2020. To date, 41.5 km from Troitskaya to Neberdzhaevskaya have been laid. Now an 11-km-long section onward from Neberdzhaevskaya is being built, with the construction of one more 20-km-long section scheduled for near future. The works at the final 18-kmlong section between Kabardinka and Gelendzhik will begin in 2023.

The Yeisk Water Pipeline delivers potable water to Yeisk, Shcherbinovsky, Starominsky and Kushchevsky rayons of Krasnodar krai, and Azovsky rayon of Rostov oblast. A 10.8-km-long section has been laid there; now the works are being performed at a 41-km-long section.
