Krasnodar, 9 August. About 2,000 illegitimate reclassifications of the lands belonging to the state forestry stock have been found in Tuapse rayon, the regional Ministry of Natural Resources informed after the audit conducted by an interdepartmental commission.
Its work followed the visit of the Kuban Governor Veniamin Kondratiev who criticized the construction work and the situation with the land use in Tuapse rayon. After this visit, the fulfilment of construction investment projects was suspended there.
The analysis of land sale announcement ticked as ‘lands of settlements’ showed that most of them intersected the borders of the forestry stock, which means that the land plots had been formed in violation of law. “In fact, the forestry land which is owned by the Russian Federation and may not be privatized by third parties, and whose economic turnover is limited, land parcels classified as ‘lands of settlements’ were formed,” the Ministry’s press office stated.
