Krasnodar, 15 July. The Legislative Assembly deputies are observing the progress of upgrading schools in the region’s municipalities.
Last week, Chairperson of the Legislative Assembly’s Committee on Science, Education, Culture and Family Affairs Viktor Cherniavsky inspected School No. 16 in Ukrainskaya, Pavlovsky rayon.
The cost of the capital repairs of the school building, water supply and sewage systems, heating, ventilation, and power supply is 37.8 million roubles, including 8.8 million roubles assigned to furnish the classrooms. The works will be based upon municipal contracts. To date, the construction preparedness equals to 22%. All works are to be completed this October.
The deputies also inspected the gym at School No. 11 that is undergoing reconstruction as part of a regional governmental program. Besides, they visited the Staroleushkovsky Special Boarding School where they were shown how students are taught worker specialities. The next inspection has been scheduled to Anapa for next week – three schools in this resort city take part in the governmental program.
