Krasnodar, 13 July. Over 3,000 children reportedly celebrated the Day of Family, Love and Fidelity (Stt. Peter and Fevronia’s Day) at the all-Russia Children’s Centre “Orlionok” (Eaglet).
The kids took part in the festival of decorative and applied arts, visited creative workshops, a film parlour, and a lesson of lettering.
“This warm and genuinely cosy festival is dear to all of us, because the family is our main value. The family is a source of kindness and care, a trustworthy backing and a tower of strength for a person. It has become a tradition to celebrate this holiday at Orlionok. Since 2014, every year we gather together in the framework of the ‘Camomile in a Palm’ festival,” Children’s Centre Director Aleksandr Dzheus commented.
The festive day began with celebratory assemblies held in the children’s camps of the Centre. Then the children presented their talents at the literature glade, festival of decorative and applied arts, and exhibition of artistic works. Then young participants visited the film parlour, creative and playgrounds, and master classes.
