Krasnodar, 6 July. The Kuban region is expanding the cooperation with the Minsk Tractor Works.
The respective document was signed during the Forum of Russian and Belarusian Regions held last week in Grodno (Hrodna), Belarus.
“We share the same views of how to develop our economy and we have an understanding of the issues of imports substitution and localization of production facilities,” Belarusian Minister of Industry Petr Parkhomchik said.
Kuban Governor Veniamin Kondratiev noted that such cooperation helps manufacturers withstand the sanctions.
On its turn, the Krasnodar region is ready to render broad support to the Minsk Tractor Works. A special machine-building development program that has been developed in the region provides for subsidies manufacturers aimed to ensure their further development. This year, the budget of the program was doubled and reached 160 million roubles; the plan for 2023 is 280 million roubles.
According to Petr Parkhomchik, the first 50 semi knocked-down sets of parts for tractor assembling have already arrived at the Kuban region. The tractors are assembled at the Tractor Works’ branch in Starominskaya.
