Krasnodar, 14 June. Since the beginning of this year, about 80 facilities have been put into operation in Krasnodar krai as part of the national road project.
Such are the interim results of the fulfilment of the program “Safe and high-quality roads” in the Krasnodar region. Nationally, over 300 facilities have been put into operation in the framework of this project, Vice Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin reported.
In the Krasnodar region, the works were performed in three urban agglomerations – in Novorossiysk, Krasnodar and Sochi. “Altogether with federal support we are planning to put into operation 151 facilities to the total length of more than 290 km.
About a half of them are local roads which fact positively affects the development of potential of local municipalities. In expectation of the high tourist season, peculiar attention was paid to the highways leading to the Azov and Black seacoasts,” Kuban Governor Veniamin Kondratiev said.
In Novorossiysk, all 23 sectors initially planned for this year have already been repaired.
In Sochi, the works have been completed on 20 out of the 50 scheduled facilities; in Krasnodar – on 35 out of the 46.
