Krasnodar, 8 June. Twelve persons that suffered in a road accident near Temriuk continue to undergo treatment at Kuban hospitals.
According to the regional Ministry of Health Care, eleven patients are staying at the Temriuk Central District Hospital, of whom three in the intensive care unit. A team of specialists– a surgeon, traumatologist and intensivist – were summoned from Krasnodar to render them adequate medical aid. Besides, the accident survivors were examined by Ministry of Emergency’s disaster medicine crew. On June 4, one severely injured patient was taken to the Krasnodar Regional Clinic No. 1 accompanied by a critical care physician of air medical service.
The accident with a public bus occurred in the morning of June 4 in Golubitskaya. The bus was moving from Peresyp towards Temriuk, when its driver failed to control the vehicle, rolled over to a roadside ditch and slammed into a tree. Four persons were killed on impact. The 15 injured passengers were taken to nearby hospitals. Among them were three teenagers with moderate injuries
