Krasnodar, 25 Мay. Krasnodar Krai will reportedly receive 4.7 billion roubles from the federal budget to build eight new schools.
The decision to allocate money was taken based on the results of the third stage of the screening of construction projects for educational establishments completed by the federal Ministry of Education. The total nearly 150 billion roubles of subsidies will be sent to 64 Russian regions. The resolution to administer funds was signed by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.
“Over the past six years, 60 schools were opened in the Kuban region; currently, 29 new schools are being constructed as part of the governmental programs and national projects,” commented Governor Veniamin Kondratiev. “Nonetheless, the demand for new schools remains very high. The federal centre and investors facilitate the solution of the issue. The Krasnodar region will get federal subsidies to build eight schools in Anapa, Novorossiysk, Armavir, Krasnodar, Goriachy Kluch, Gelendzhik, Sochi, and Dinskoi district.” It is planned that all construction projects will be completed in 2024.
