Krasnodar, 20 Мay. In 2022, the regional authorities will reportedly send over 50 billion roubles as subsidies to municipal budgets.
The money will be spent to back up social projects, develop residential neighbourhoods and support local residents. This year, the sum is by 20.5 billion roubles higher than it was in 2021. The subsidies will help continue the construction of schools, kindergartens, sports and cultural facilities, and repair roads, parks and social infrastructure facilities. Besides, part of this money will be spent to relocate dwellers of dilapidated houses and organize free hot meals for schoolchildren. “Now the main task of municipal leaders is to spend the money precisely to its aim and without delay. Every project must be taken under special control,” Governor Veniamin Kondratiev said.
First Vice Governor Igor Galas noted that the municipalities continue to attract tax and nontax revenues to ensure the balance of the local budgets.
