Krasnodar, 10 Мay. About one hundred and fifty deceived residential construction investors will receive monetary compensations, the Supervisory Council of the federal Fund for Territorial Development decided last week. The rights of co-investors from ten regions will be re-established.
Commenting on this decision, Kuban Governor Veniamin Kondratiev noted that owing to it, over 150 co-investors of two buildings of Krasnodar’s Dubrovka Residential Complex will receive compensations.
“It is a long-awaited decision for the people. The constructor failed to fulfil its obligations before the co-investors, and we had to apply to the federal Fund to either finish the construction project or to pay compensation. The Fund decided to make payments. On its part, the [Krasnodar] region is allocating the money needed for the payments. Thankful to the well-coordinated work, the problem of [deceived] co-investors will be resolved by the end of the following year, as we promised it,” Mr. Kondratiev stated.
The current register of problematic construction facilities
includes 154 long-delayed projects. In 2022, the rights of the
co-owners of 85 high-rises are
to be restored due to the help
of the Fund for Territorial Development.
