Krasnodar, 20 April. Last week, the regional Legislative Assembly held its 69th, special session. The first item of the agenda was the law on monthly payments for every child aged 8 till 17 to one of his/her parents who is a Russian national residing in Krasnodar Krai, if the per capita income does not exceed the subsistence level established in the region on the day of application. In 2022, this sum is equal to 12,148 roubles.
“The decision on assignment of the payment will be taken following a comprehensive audit of the family’s needs taking into account its income and pecuniary security. At the same, the income of the family members recognized unemployed on the day of application will not be taken into consideration if the labour contract with them was dissolved starting from March 1, 2022,” the Legislative Assembly’s press service admitted.
Thereby, in 2022 the monthly payment may be assigned for over 200,000 children. The allowances will be paid as a share of the subsistence level set for the underage: 50% - 5,892 roubles, 75% - 8,838 roubles, or 100% - 11,784 roubles, depending on the family income. In 2022, up to 20 billion roubles will be needed to cover these payments. Over 4.4 billion are to be covered by the regional budget.
